The TA will address the three strategic concerns by focusing on: (i) the up and/or out scaling of good agronomic and ecological pre-harvest pratices, the scientific methodologies for development of rice disease-resistant and nutrient fortified seeds as well as field-tested post harvest technologies; (ii) policy research and advocacy on the emerging challenges; and (iii) south-south and inter-regional cooperation for ensuring food and nutrition security in the region.
