Outcome Drawing on lessons learned from other regional experiences that have contributed to financial stability, the intended outcome of the TA is a set of balanced policy recommendations that will enhance the stability of regional financial markets by (i) improving the effectiveness of regional financial market surveillance, supervision, and regulation; (ii) increasing resilience against large, unexpected external shocks by addressing the pro-cyclicality of financial systems and appointing prudential regulators, macro-prudential supervisors, and related standard-setters; and (iii) identifying how the finance component of the Asian growth model can contribute to economic growth that is better balanced between exports and domestic demand.
