Impact Project impacts will include the following:

(i) raise the level of awareness among key stakeholders about the potential of markets for ecosystem services such as carbon sequestration in responding to environmental and developmental goals;

(ii) demonstrate related mechanisms for several types of ecosystem service in selected sites for learning and for subsequent replication, especially to capture financial transfers through the carbon market; and

(iii) identify ways to incorporate ecosystem services financing into development investments of ADB and its partners.
