| Objectives and Scope |
The proposed TA will help to prepare a project that will improve access to and quality and relevance of demand driven vocational education and skills training (VEST) for youth and adults. The TA will address the issues mentioned and will prepare a project that will (i) rationalize the current VEST system and build up capacity required to stimulate relevance, equity, flexibility and efficiency of primary vocational education, including upgrading and rehabilitating selected training facilities; (ii) increase skills training and retraining opportunities for adults; and (iii) strengthen public-private partnership by expanding linkages between supply of vocational education and skills training and labor market needs.
