| Description |
Additional study of (i) the scope for future passenger services and the likely level of subsidy required for various levels of such services; (ii) connecting the railway to hnom Penh International Airport and a proposed low-cost international airport development at Kampong Chhnang to provide rail passenger shuttle services to Phnom Penh railway station; (iii) connecting the railway to two proposed cement factories in Kampot in southern Cambodia; (iv) rehabilitation a branch line connecting the railway to the port in Phnom Penh to enhance integration with inland water traffic; and (v) prepare preliminary design and bidding documents for design-build contracts for these additional project components if deemed viable.
