| Description |
The objectives of the TA are to (i) assist the Government in preparing a Secondary Education Development Program through an in-depth sub-sector analysis for secondary education taking into account the linkages, wherever relevant, with primary education and higher education; and (ii) based on this analysis and in consultation with Government, prepare a costed project with components, proposed management structure, a monitoring system, and an implementation schedule designed to make specific interventions that will facilitate achievement of Government objectives and targets identified in the Secondary Education Development Plan. The scope of the TA will cover strategies for a costed, overall implementation framework towards interventions for more equitable access, improve quality, policy guidelines, institutional capacity building, and improved monitoring and supervision.
